Summer Reading Club 2013
- Children ages birth through 5th grade can SIGN UP anytime beginning June 17.
- Each child will receive a reading record to keep track of time spent reading or titles of the books read during summer. Children of all reading abilities are welcome to join. Being read to or listening to audiobooks counts! (Children age 3 and under who sign up, will automatically receive a special gift, while supplies last.)
- Visit the Grant R. Brimhall Library or Newbury Park Branch Library with your reading record each week beginning June 24 and continuing through August 11 to receive fun incentives. (New incentives are put out each Monday.)
We'll also be offering a variety of programs, crafts and contests* all summer, so Go-pher some good books and READ!
*This year's contests include a Library Treasure Hunt, Guessing Jar and our annual Children's Bookmark Contest. Contests are an optional part of the Summer Reading Club to provide participants extra opportunities to win prizes!

- No need to register for these programs at either library, just come enjoy the fun!
- These programs are expressly designed for young listerners, so please follow the age guidelines for each storytime series.
- Every attempt is made to begin programs on time. As late arrivals can be distracting for presenters and children, we may not be able to accommodate latecomers.
